:
Ford is seeking a TPV-Mule Systems Integration Engineer to support prototype vehicle integration and validation activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating electrical hardware, software, wiring systems, and communication networks into prototype vehicles to enable full system functionality and validation testing. This role requires strong electrical engineering knowledge, vehicle systems integration experience, and expertise in automotive communication protocol
s.Key Responsibilitie
- s:Integrate new hardware and software components including wiring harnesses, modules, MUX signals, and translator boxes into prototype vehicle
- s.Perform vehicle bring-up activities including power-up sequencing, signal validation, and functional verificatio
- n.Develop, review, and modify electrical schematics and wire harness drawing
- s.Analyze vehicle electrical architectures, including power distribution, grounding strategies, signal routing, and interface point
- s.Review Device Transmittals (DTs) to ensure integration readiness and component compatibilit
- y.Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and communication-related issue
- s.Support surrogate component selection and perform compatibility analysis against production intent design
- s.Utilize CANalyzer/CANoe for CAN bus monitoring, signal validation, message decoding, and ECU communication analysi
- s.Debug network communication issues involving CAN, LIN, and Ethernet protocol
- s.Validate ECU integration and overall vehicle network functionalit
y.Required Qualification
- s:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fiel
- d.Experience in automotive systems integration, EDS, prototype vehicle validation, or vehicle electrical system
- s.Strong ability to read, interpret, and create electrical schematic
- s.Knowledge of vehicle wiring systems, signal flow, power distribution, and grounding strategie
- s.Hands-on experience with CANalyzer and/or CANo
- e.Knowledge of CAN, LIN, and Ethernet communication protocol
- s.Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skill
- s.Excellent communication and documentation skill
