Wire Drawing Machine OperatorLocation: Humble, TX 77396Employment Type: Full-Time (Hourly)Compensation: $18– $20 per hour (DOE – Depending on Experience)Schedule: 12 Hour, Day ShiftPOSITION PURPOSE Operate and monitor wire drawing machines to manufacture copper products according to technical specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Inspect machines and auxiliary equipment before starting the wire drawing process.• Set up and mount wire drawing dies according to production specifications.• Operate wire drawing machinery ensuring compliance with process parameters and routing instructions.• Collect samples for quality tests such as grain size, hardness, and torsion testing.• Record finished products, by-products, and downtime in the production system.• Prepare and complete production documentation and reports.• Monitor critical control points to detect potential quality deviations.• Record production data in SAP to support inventory and stock control.• Generate maintenance notifications when equipment service is required.• Report unsafe conditions or incidents and support plant safety inspections.• Maintain work areas organized and clean following 5S practices.EDUCATION High School Diploma or equivalent.EXPERIENCE 6 months – 1 year operating industrial machinery in manufacturing environments preferred.TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE • Wire drawing process fundamentals • Basic metrology knowledge • Industrial machinery operationCORE COMPETENCIES • Teamwork• Attention to quality and detail• Safety awareness• Operational disciplineCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
