Lele held the Jewelry Design Director role at Tory Burch before starting her own brand in 2012. Sales Assistant – Role Overview:

The Sales Assistant will support the Sales Director in driving growth across key accounts while ensuring seamless execution across all stages of the sales cycle. This role is highly cross-functional, partnering closely with sales, logistics, operations, and marketing to support both day-to-day business and market initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and onboard new accounts through targeted market research and outreach
  • Partner with Logistics to ensure clear client communication and timely order fulfillment
  • Support the Director of Sales with order management, market appointments, pre-market preparation, and post-market follow-up
  • Manage all sample requests across wholesale
  • Assist with showroom operations, including setup, merchandising, and execution for key markets
  • Support new account setup by coordinating cross-functionally with credit and operations teams
  • Oversee order flow, including order entry, tracking, and shipping follow-up
  • Maintain accurate data in ERP systems, ensuring pricing, terms, and allocations are correct
  • Maintain shared trackers and internal documents to support team alignment
  • Compile and maintain weekly and monthly selling reports, including sell-through analysis

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in contemporary fashion or accessories preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of retail math and sales reporting
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • NYC/Metro based, hybrid work schedule
