Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Associate with 4–8 years of experience to join our growing practice. This role is ideal for a former federal prosecutor—or an attorney with comparable high-level litigation experience—looking to transition into private practice while continuing to handle complex, high-stakes matters.

The position offers significant responsibility, client interaction, and courtroom exposure in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support complex litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Develop case strategy, including factual investigation and legal analysis
  • Draft, review, and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions
  • Conduct and defend depositions, including fact and expert witnesses
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and evidentiary proceedings
  • Collaborate with partners and clients on litigation strategy, risk assessment, and case management

Preferred Background

  • Experience as an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) or DOJ Trial Attorney strongly preferred
  • Background in federal investigations, white collar defense, or complex criminal litigation
  • Demonstrated courtroom experience, including hearings and trial work

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active bar license in good standing
  • 4–8 years of litigation experience (law firm or government)
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong judgment, professionalism, and client-facing skills
