Wealth Management Associate

Squarely LLC
Greater Los Angeles, CA

The Opportunity

Squarely's client is a boutique, high-touch wealth management firm in Ventura County seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor to grow into a long-term seat at the table. This is an in-person role built for someone with roughly five years of advisory or client-facing experience — or an MBA with a serious track record and genuine hunger to build a career in wealth management.

The firm is small by design. A collaborative, close-knit team and a leadership team that invests in the people around them. If you're looking for deep client relationships, direct mentorship, and real ownership over your work, this is the environment for it.

What You'll Do

  • Partner directly with senior advisors and firm leadership on client delivery, meeting prep, and follow-through
  • Own client onboarding and ongoing relationship management end-to-end
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable client-facing materials
  • Identify operational gaps and drive solutions without being asked
  • Hold teammates accountable while keeping the culture intact
  • Take on administrative, operational, and strategic work as the role demands — this is a wear-every-hat environment

What the Firm Offers

  • Competitive base salary + bonus program
  • Health insurance and 401(k) with match
  • Direct mentorship from senior leadership
  • Real advancement potential tied to performance, not tenure
  • A private-office, entrepreneurial culture where initiative gets noticed and rewarded

What They're Looking For

  • 5+ years in an advisory, sales, or professional client-facing role — OR recent MBA with strong prior experience
  • Solid working knowledge of financial concepts
  • Polished written and verbal communication — you represent the firm
  • Problem-solver who moves fast, stays calm, and doesn't wait to be told
  • Self-starter with strong organizational instincts and follow-through
  • Comfortable giving and receiving direction in a flat, collaborative structure
  • Long-term orientation — this firm is looking for a decade-plus relationship, not a two-year stop

Growth Path

Advancement is real but earned. Phase one is about demonstrating reliability, initiative, and judgment. From there, the role expands — more client exposure, more autonomy, more responsibility.
