Job Title: Water Restoration Technician

Job Description

This position is ideal for individuals with experience in carpet cleaning, construction, lawn care, pest control, and general labor. You will be part of a dedicated crew removing water from structures using specialized equipment, removing damaged furniture, flooring, and wallboard. The role requires a valid driver's license and comfort with wearing a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Remove water from structures using specialized equipment.
• Remove damaged furniture, flooring, and wallboard.
• Collect monetary payment and proceed to the next service call.
• Extensive driving to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Enter customers’ residences providing trustworthy service while solving problems.
• Perform hard labor during long workdays.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction, general labor, landscaping, demolition, restoration, and fire damage.
• Comfortable using hand tools.
• Knowledge in wastewater, property damage, water treatment, and remediation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Haz tech certification.
• Backflow certifications (support provided for obtaining).
• OSHA 10 certification (support provided for obtaining).
• CDL A license (will need to get eventually).

Work Environment

The work involves excavation in both commercial and residential buildings. Typical workdays are 8 hours, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the average production for that week. Employees clock in as soon as they leave their home each morning, ensuring fair compensation for all time worked.

This is a Permanent position based out of East Palo Alto, CA.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in East Palo Alto,CA.
