The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for gathering parts and materials for production work orders and supporting inventory control processes in a fast-paced warehouse
- Pull, stage, and check work order units to enable production to assemble products.
- Receive piece parts from Quality Control and/or Field Stores, verify shipment against purchase order, and store parts in appropriate location.
- Receive finished goods from material handlers, verify correct parts number and quantities against work order packet, and store in appropriate location.
- May cut cable wire for work orders requiring a specific type, length, and quantity.
- Issue parts and record all transactions accurately.
- May operate the data entry terminal to generate a production inventory control and work order documents
- May complete requisitions to secure needed parts.
- May prepare goods for shipment.
- Assist with physical inventory
- Perform other tasks in and around the warehouse as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Forklift experience
- At least 1 year of warehouse or related experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a dusty warehouse environment
