Warehouse / Speedflex department
Job Summary:The Warehouse Supervisorposition is responsible for packing orders, receiving shipments, organizing and maintaining inventory, facility maintenance, communication with staff, and ongoing projects. Must be a proactive team member that can learn and work quickly.It requires someone to be detail oriented and ideally mechanically inclined.
Location: Charlotte, NC 28203
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Salary: $20/hr.
Warehouse SupervisorResponsibilities and Duties:
- Pack pallets for local pickup and LTL shipment using existing procedures.
- Packing smaller orders for FedEx & UPS pickups.
- Receive pallet shipments for redistribution or production.
- Warehouse organization- Includes keeping warehouse inventory separate and accounted for.
- Taking a weekly inventory of the warehouse materials.
- Safely using a forklift to move stock.
- Communicating with staff regarding schedule, inventory, and future orders (Need to be proficient enough on computers to use email and inventory spreadsheets)
- Keeping a safe work environment by following all rules and regulations.
- Maintaining the facilities.
- Any other tasks and duties as assigned by the operations team.
Warehouse SpecialistExperience needed:
- Forklift Certification or experience
- Be professional on the phone and in person.
- Must have a valid unencumbered Driver License.
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools.
- Basic MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
