General responsibilities:
- Management of 15-25 indirect reports.
- Ensures that all team members are fully trained, capable of performing their duties and utilized in an efficient manner.
- Supervisory responsibilities including coaching and developing staff.
- Manage resources to meet performance goals and strategic plans for the facility.
- Responsible for achieving company objectives for safety, food safety, cost, productivity, customer service and profitability.
- Complies with all state, federal and local regulations.
- Actively participates in ongoing compliance training including PSM, BRC, Safety and Employee Relations.
- Ensures quality of product entering and leaving the building as well as accuracy of product on hand.
- Ensures adherence to all operational procedures including verification of shipments, handling and disposition of production and keeping of inventory.
Preferred Experience and Education
Associates or Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Logistics or related field preferred, or a combination of education and experience. 3-5 years of industry related experience with increasing responsibility for developing and leading teams is highly preferred. Valid state issued driver’s license is required.
