Warehouse Associate

PrideStaff is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Associatefor aclient in Glendale Heights, ILthat willsupport daily warehouse operations in a customer facing, non-distribution environment. This role requires manual order picking, attention to detail, and the ability to assist walk in customers. Unlike large distribution centers, this position involves pulling mixed size orders by hand, stocking product, and ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, and staged.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Retail curbside order picking experience, manually pulling and staging orders
2. Floor associate experience; assisting customers with locating items
3. Stocking experience, receiving and placing material in the correct locations

**Steel-toe boots/shoes**

1st Shift- 8am-4:30pm
**Will need to train 7am-4:30**

Pay: $20-$21/hr

Qualifications:

• Background in warehouse environments that combine order pulling, customer interaction, and stocking
• Experience manually pulling orders using hands, carts, ladders, or order pickers
• Strong attention to detail when working with part numbers and bin locations
• Comfortable assisting customers in a face to face environment
• Ability to work at heights (up to 20’)
• Product knowledge or the ability to learn products quickly

Responsibilities:

• Manually pick customer and internal orders using hands, order pickers, ladders, and carts (not exclusively forklift work)
• Accurately pull, verify, and stage orders by part number and bin location (no RF scanners used)
• Assist customers at the will call counter, including locating items and loading orders into customer vehicles
• Receive inbound material, verify shipments, and place items into correct warehouse locations
• Prepare and process outbound UPS and LTL shipments
• Operate an order picker at heights up to 20 feet
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Support general warehouse functions including stocking, inventory accuracy, and material handling
• Occasionally operate a forklift (experience preferred but not required)
• Lifting up to 50 lbs is required.
