Description
This role is responsible for supporting the global quality systems and works closely with the Manufacturing/Warehousing team and the Quality and Regulatory Manager. The Quality Associate role performs routine quality functions which require application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria, correlating and reporting data, recognizing discrepancies in results and following operations through a series of related, detailed steps or processes, in addition to administrative work.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
· Quality Inspection support for manufacturing and packaging shifts at both Golden and Westgate warehouses.
· Investigate known or reported quality issues and report discrepancies to Quality and Regulatory Manager.
· Preserve Quality Control Site Data Integrity, including reviewing and resolving discrepancy reports.
· Process new product reviews and report findings.
· Build mockups of product store displays, shippers, bins, clip strips and provide feedback around functionality, durability, and shipping safety.
· Review and approve global product carton renderings, codes, descriptions, and labels.
· Coordinate finished goods third-party testing.
· Aid in organizing and maintaining systems product data for global packaging regulations and standards.
· Organize and assist in maintaining product data for global waste and sustainability regulations and standards.
· Maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) Database.
· Support vendor compliance program.
· Recommend, create, and revise quality policies and procedures.
· Maintain quality and compliance records.
· Educate team members in quality and compliance standards.
· Support department and company continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
· Other tasks and projects as assigned.
