VP of Restaurant Lease Portfolio

$200,000–$225,000/year + Bonus

We are seeking an experienced VP of Restaurant Lease Portfolio to oversee and optimize a complex lease portfolio of 100+ restaurant locations. This executive-level leader will be responsible for lease administration, renewals, negotiations, portfolio strategy, and real estate risk management while partnering closely with operations, finance, legal, and executive leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the strategic management of a restaurant lease portfolio consisting of 100+ locations
  • Negotiate lease renewals, amendments, extensions, assignments, and landlord agreements
  • Identify opportunities to improve occupancy costs and maximize portfolio performance
  • Develop and execute long-term lease strategies aligned with company growth objectives
  • Manage critical lease dates, renewals, rent escalations, and compliance requirements
  • Evaluate relocation, closure, and restructuring opportunities within the portfolio
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Legal, and Real Estate teams to support business initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, developers, brokers, and legal partners
  • Analyze market conditions and lease terms to mitigate risk and drive value
  • Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations regarding portfolio performance

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of commercial real estate, lease administration, portfolio management, or real estate asset management experience
  • Significant corporate-level experience managing large multi-unit restaurant, retail, or hospitality lease portfolios
  • Proven experience overseeing and negotiating 100+ active leases
  • Strong understanding of commercial lease structures, lease negotiations, CAM charges, rent escalations, and occupancy costs
  • Experience working within complex, multi-location organizations
  • Exceptional financial analysis, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to influence executive leadership and drive strategic decision-making
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or real estate-related certifications preferred
