The Vice President of Marketing provides enterprise-wide leadership for Hope Media Group’s marketing strategy and execution across all brands and platforms. This role is responsible for building a performance-driven marketing team and program that serves each brand and product team, accelerates audience growth, deepens engagement, strengthens brand equity, and increases donor acquisition.


Essential Functions:


LEADERSHIP:

  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and mission-driven culture.
  • Develop high-performing leaders across all marketing disciplines.
  • Strengthen cross-department alignment across Radio Programming, Digital Content, Donor Development, and Technology.
  • Refine marketing organizational structure as needed for growth.
  • Shape corporate brand positioning and long-term growth strategy.
  • Lead annual marketing planning and budget management.


INSIGHTS:


Purpose: Build a culture of measurable impact where data informs decision-making and marketing investments produce measurable results and sustainable growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure KPIs and performance dashboards across all brands and platforms are built, maintained, and utilized.
  • Translate insights into actionable strategy for Campaigns and Digital teams.
  • Oversee campaign measurement, attribution modeling, and ROI analysis.
  • Lead audience research, market analysis, and segmentation strategy.
  • Guide annual planning through data-driven forecasting and modeling.
  • Partner with internal departments to align growth goals.


CAMPAIGNS:


Purpose: Design and execute integrated campaigns for every brand/product that moves audiences along the engagement pathway — from awareness to involvement to investment.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure enterprise-wide campaign frameworks and planning processes and implemented and utilized.
  • Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns for all HMG brands.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and voice across broadcast, digital, PR, events, and donor initiatives.
  • Align campaign strategy with audience growth and donor engagement goals.
  • Establish post-campaign reporting standards.
  • Strengthen internal collaboration between teams.
  • Oversee public relations strategy.


DIGITAL:

Purpose: Drive measurable audience, prospect, and donor growth through digital content and channels.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead digital growth strategy across web, apps, streaming, email, text, paid media, and emerging platforms.
  • Optimize customer journeys and conversion funnels.
  • Oversee paid digital advertising strategy and vendor partnerships.
  • Align SEO, search, app growth, and audience acquisition strategies.
  • Ensure marketing automation and CRM integration.


MINISTRY ENGAGEMENT:

  • Pray for coworkers in team meetings.
  • Use Christian principles to work through conflict.
  • Participate in our listener Support Drives and pray for donors by phone as needed.
  • Participate in bi-weekly ministry-wide prayer huddles

Non-Essential Functions:

  • Other duties as requested.


Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications:


Education:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; or work experience equivalent.


Experience:

  • 7-10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
  • Experience leading multi-channel marketing teams.
  • Proven success in building performance-driven marketing organizations.
  • Strong background in both traditional and digital marketing.
  • Demonstrated success scaling audience or customer growth.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar marketing budgets.
  • Experience in mission-driven or nonprofit organizations preferred


Demonstrated Faith:

  • Committed to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Grounded spiritually and biblically literate
  • Comfortable praying for co-workers in team meetings, leading spoken prayer, and participating in ministry prayer meetings and Bible studies
  • Live Christian principles defined by the ministry’s Statement of Faith & Biblical Beliefs
  • Participate in on-air fundraisers and prays for donors as needed
  • Passion for leveraging the HMG’s media platforms for evangelism and discipleship
  • Exhibit a strong moral character
  • Active member of a Bible believing local church

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Immediate supervision over a unit, section, or department. Recommends candidates for hiring, termination; prepares and conducts performance appraisals and salary reviews and applies company policies.



Working Conditions and Environment:


Travel:

Occasional travel for conferences, leadership retreats, and market engagement.


Nights/Weekends/Holidays:

Occasional for conferences or retreats.
