VP of Development and Construction- Commercial Real Estate

Position Overview

The Vice President of Construction & Development will lead all aspects of ground-up development and capital projects across an industrial and commercial real estate portfolio in South Florida. This executive will oversee the full lifecycle of development—from site acquisition support and entitlements through design, construction, and project delivery—ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic investment goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning and execution of industrial and commercial development projects, including warehouses, logistics facilities, flex space, and office assets
• Manage zoning, permitting, and entitlement processes across multiple South Florida municipalities
• Lead all construction activities, including ground-up development, tenant improvements, and capital improvements
• Ensure all projects meet regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and company quality expectations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred)
• 10–15+ years of experience in commercial real estate development and construction, with a strong focus on industrial assets is required.
• Deep knowledge of South Florida construction practices, permitting processes, and municipal regulations
