Merchandising Coordinator Intern
Location: Coppell, TX 75019 (Onsite 5 days per week)
Duration: 6 Month Internship
Schedule: 40 hours per week
We are seeking a Merchandising Coordinator Intern to support our studio team during peak season as we head into the holiday period. This fully onsite internship in Coppell, TX offers hands on exposure to merchandising operations within a fast-paced studio environment. The intern will play a key role in helping ensure merchandise is organized, tracked, and prepared for studio photo shoots.
This opportunity is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is highly organized, detail oriented, and interested in gaining real world experience in merchandising, production, or studio operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Request, receive, and inspect merchandise samples for upcoming studio shoots
- Prepare merchandise for shoots, including cleaning items, removing tags, organizing trays, and assisting with basic styling
- Coordinate handoffs of merchandise with studio, photography, and styling teams
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking to prevent lost, damaged, or undocumented samples
- Assist on set as needed alongside stylists and production teams
- Help repackage, document, and return samples with proper paperwork, packaging, and tags
Top 3 Must Haves:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency in Excel for tracking and PowerPoint for shot lists
- Comfort handling and managing physical product inventory
Preferred Background:
- Coursework or internship experience related to merchandising, fashion, marketing, or production
- Interest in retail, ecommerce, or photo studio environments
- Willingness to support high volume workflows during peak periods
