Vice President of Procurement

$210,000 - $275,000 + 20% bonus
About the Role:
We are seeking a senior procurement executive to lead our sourcing strategy, supplier relationships, and procurement operations. This role owns total spend across ingredients, packaging, and indirect categories and serves on the Executive Leadership Team. Expect 30-40% of travel to suppliers, manufacturing sites, and industry events.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategy aligned to company growth and sustainability goals
- Own and optimize total spend across raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and indirect categories
- Build and manage a diverse global supplier base; lead complex, multi-year contract negotiations
- Conduct regular supplier visits and audits domestically and internationally
- Drive supply chain resilience through dual-sourcing, scenario planning, and business continuity programs
- Advance ethical sourcing and sustainability commitments across the supply base
- Lead and develop a team of 8–12 procurement professionals
- Deliver year-over-year cost savings and provide commodity cost forecasting to Finance
- Report procurement KPIs to the CSCO and Board
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in procurement, with 4+ years in a senior leadership role
- Background in CPG / food supply chains strongly preferred
- Proven track record of delivering commercial value through strategic sourcing and negotiation
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple spend categories
- Bachelor's degree required; CPSM or equivalent certification a plus
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (30–40%); valid US passport required
