About Your Role:
As a Vice President, HR Business Partner supporting Supply Chain at Dollar Tree, you will serve as a strategic advisor to senior operations leadership across our distribution centers and logistics network. You will align HR strategies with business objectives to drive performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will lead and develop a team of HR professionals while partnering cross-functionally to ensure scalable, consistent, and impactful people solutions across our supply chain footprint.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Strategic Partnership & Business Alignment
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior Supply Chain leaders, influencing business strategy through a people lens
Translate operational goals into actionable HR strategies that drive performance, productivity, and retention
Partner with leadership to plan workforce needs, including capacity planning for distribution centers and network expansion
Talent Strategy & Organizational Effectiveness
Lead talent planning, succession, and leadership development initiatives across Supply Chain
Assess organizational design and implement structures that enable efficiency and scalability
Drive initiatives to improve frontline and leadership capability within distribution and logistics operations
Employee Experience & Engagement
Champion a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture across all supply chain locations
Partner with leaders to address engagement, retention, and employee relations challenges
Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices across a geographically dispersed workforce
Operational Excellence & HR Delivery
Leverage data and insights to inform decision-making and improve HR outcomes
Partner with Centers of Excellence (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employee Relations) to deliver integrated solutions
Drive process consistency and continuous improvement across HR programs and services
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Business Partners and field HR leaders
Build organizational capability within the HR function to support a complex, high-growth supply chain environment
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
12+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including direct support of large-scale operations (supply chain, distribution, manufacturing, or retail)
Proven experience supporting multi-site, high-volume workforces with national or regional scope
Demonstrated success influencing senior executives and driving business outcomes through HR strategy
Experience leading and developing HR teams in a complex, fast-paced environment
Strong expertise in employee relations, labor dynamics, and workforce planning within operational settings
Ability to travel as needed to support distribution center network
