Senior Vice President / Business Unit Leader

What You’ll Do:

Relate Search has partnered with a leading organization in the safety and protective solutions space in their search for a Senior Vice President / Business Unit Leader to lead their Training Solutions & Total Care business unit. This is a high-impact executive leadership role responsible for driving significant growth, operational excellence, and brand expansion as part of a broader enterprise strategy.

This leader will own full P&L responsibility while partnering cross-functionally to scale the business, enhance customer engagement, and build a high-performing, people-first culture. The role offers the opportunity to shape strategy, influence enterprise-wide initiatives, and lead a globally connected, mission-driven organization focused on safety, performance, and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the strategic vision for the business unit, driving significant revenue and EBITDA growth in alignment with enterprise objectives
• Own full P&L performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in partnership with shared services leadership
• Drive brand strategy and market expansion, enhancing customer engagement, distribution channels, and overall market position
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, HR, and Finance to ensure alignment, scalability, and execution excellence
• Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across a global, matrixed environment

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of senior leadership experience with full P&L ownership
• Experience in regulated, safety-driven, or compliance-oriented industries
• Proven ability to lead and scale teams within a global, matrixed organization
• Strong commercial acumen, including experience with B2B go-to-market strategies and customer engagement
• MBA preferred; technical or engineering background a plus
