MajorDuties

• Inspects water and waste facilities and equipment.
• Makes adjustments to sewage system equipment, i.e., valves, pumps and gates, to assure an uninterrupted flow.
• Monitors pressure gauges and flow meters to maintain water levels.
• Adjusts flow and chemicals to achieve proper PH for correct treatment.
• Operates service pumps to pump water that is under pressure through equipment.

About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at Pine Bluff Arsenal. This position serves as Utility Systems Operator in the Pine Bluff Arsenal's Water Treatment Plant, Sewage Disposal Plant and Industrial Waste Treatment Plant. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct Deposit of Pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
