Trust & Estates Associate Attorney

A highly regarded, boutique private wealth law firm is seeking a 2nd or 3rd year Trust & Estates Associate Attorney to join its growing Wilmington, DE office. This is an exceptional opportunity to work directly with high-net-worth clients, trust companies, and experienced partners in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, sophisticated estate planning work, and hands-on responsibility early in their career.


What You’ll Do

  • Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on estate planning and wealth transfer strategies
  • Work closely with trust companies and fiduciaries
  • Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and related instruments
  • Participate in client meetings with significant partner exposure and mentorship
  • Handle complex, detail-oriented matters with a high level of client service

What We’re Looking For

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Active Delaware Bar admission
  • 2–3 years of Trust & Estates experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to “handhold” and guide clients through sensitive matters
  • Detail-oriented with strong drafting and analytical abilities

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $160,000 – $200,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
