The team is comprised of lawyers trained in top-tier firms and government roles, operating in a lean, trial-focused environment with meaningful responsibility from the outset.

- Known for handling “bet-the-company” disputes and difficult, high-risk matters
- Significant jury trial experience (300+ trials across the team)

The Role
This is a hands-on trial position suited to a BigLaw-trained associate who wants:
- Earlier and more consistent courtroom exposure
- Direct involvement in trial strategy
- Greater ownership of matters within a leaner, high-calibre team
Key Responsibilities
- Take a central role in complex litigation matters from inception through trial
- Develop and execute trial strategy alongside partners
- Draft substantive filings, including dispositive motions, briefs, and pleadings
- Conduct depositions, including key witnesses and experts
- Prepare cases for trial, including evidence development and witness examination
- Appear in court for hearings, motions, and trial proceedings
- Engage directly with sophisticated clients on high-value disputes
- Participate in mediations and settlement discussions in parallel with trial preparation
Candidate Profile
- J.D. qualified and admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
- Experience at a top-tier law firm or recognised litigation team
- Background in complex civil litigation (3+ years)
- Exposure to trial work, hearings, or depositions
- Strong academic and professional pedigree
- Excellent advocacy, writing, and analytical skills
- Interest in stepping into a more trial-oriented role
