Job Title: Traveling Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled construction laborer who will assist with tunnel work and is willing to travel. The ideal candidate will have experience with various types of construction projects, including water/wastewater, mining, transportation, commercial and residential building, energy, tunneling, and marine. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with tunnel construction work.
  • Travel to various construction sites as required.
  • Participate in a variety of construction projects, such as water/wastewater management, mining, transportation, commercial and residential building, energy projects, tunneling, and marine construction.
  • Ensure construction safety and adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Conduct trench digging and underground utility work.
  • Perform concrete finishing and concrete pours.
  • Engage in demolition and pipeline construction activities.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of commercial construction experience.
  • Experience in construction safety and commercial building.
  • Proficiency in concrete finishing and concrete pours.
  • Knowledge of trench digging and underground utilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience with underground utility work is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
