The Distribution Center has an opening for a Transportation Routing Supervisor. This position is located in Brea, CA.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provides daily work direction to frontline associates.
  • Assigns drivers to loads ensuring compliance with Company and DOT guidelines.
  • Uses technical systems for reporting and analytics.
  • Leads daily performance meetings.
  • Conducts performance, coaching, provides individual feedback and issues corrective action.
  • Makes daily decisions impacting the business (including but not limited to routing, scheduling, labor 
    management, retail service, and cost).
  • Handles all team performance and personnel issues.
  • Ensures accuracy of time & attendance, including payroll.
  • Investigates accidents & injury incidents.
  • Completes root cause analysis for Safety, Service and Cost KPI misses.
  • Helps develop subordinates for next level.
  • Performs duties according to regulations and policy (can include collective bargaining agreement).
  • Ensures all drivers comply with Company, Federal and Local laws, and regulations.
  • Must be flexible to work different schedules and shifts.
  • Performs other management duties as requested, including special projects.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; or has significant traffic management to include truck and rail deliveries. To include a strong working knowledge of 
    government regulations pertaining to transportation.
  • Prefer experience in the following applications but will train right person. (Prospero, XRS (ZATA/Omnitracs), Lytx, One Network)
  • Possesses strong supervisory skills with a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience as Manager/Supervisor/Lead 
    Position, and with demonstrated levels of achievement.
