Role Description
This is a remote role for a Trademark Paralegal / Attorney (West Coast availability preferred). The role involves managing trademarks from start to finish, including searches, filings, and maintenance, conducting due diligence for intellectual property matters, and analyzing legal issues related to trademarks, copyrights, and patents. The candidate will perform legal research, assist in drafting legal documents, maintain comprehensive docketing systems, and manage copyright protection and enforcement. Collaboration with creators, content agencies, and studios will also be a key component of the role.
Compensation will be competitive, either hourly or on a monthly retainer.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• 1–3 years of experience in U.S. trademark prosecution
• Able to conduct knockout searches and prepare written analysis
• Confident filing applications through TEAS without supervision
• Able to draft or assist with responses to Office Actions
• Experienced in managing a trademark docket and deadlines
• No litigation experience required (we do not handle TTAB or court matters)
Preferred but not required:
• Experience with Madrid Protocol or other international filings
