Professional Summary
Experienced manufacturing leader responsible for overseeing tool room operations, tooling inventory, maintenance programs, and workforce development. Ensures the availability, performance, and compliance of tools and equipment while supporting production goals. Drives CNC capability enhancement, cost reduction initiatives, operational efficiency, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily tool room operations, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained, stored, and readily available to support production needs.
- Manage tooling inventory, maintenance schedules, and tracking systems to minimize downtime and optimize asset utilization.
- Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate tool room personnel, including supporting apprenticeship and workforce development programs.
- Develop team capabilities in CAD/CNC technologies while implementing strategies to reduce tooling and spare parts costs.
- Partner with production teams to forecast tooling requirements and ensure timely availability of critical resources.
- Establish and enforce safety, quality, and operational standards through regular audits and compliance reviews.
- Monitor tool room budgets, control expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Resolve tooling performance issues, support continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate across departments to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Prepare operational reports detailing tool room performance, resource requirements, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Stay current with advancements in tooling, CNC technologies, and manufacturing best practices to support operational excellence.

Key Qualifications:
- Journeyman Tool & Die certification with strong CAD/CNC expertise.
