Overview

This role supports construction on a large-scale industrial/manufacturing project in Brookshire, TX overseeing on-site construction from installation through startup, working closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities on-site, including managing subcontractors and field execution
• Develop and maintain project schedules, resolving delays and driving progress
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure alignment
• Identify and resolve jobsite issues, design conflicts, and construction challenges in real time
• Track project budgets, costs, and change orders
• Review drawings, RFIs, and submittals to ensure installation meets specifications
• Lead site meetings, inspections, and safety compliance efforts
• Communicate risks, updates, and progress clearly to stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in construction project management (industrial, manufacturing, or large commercial)
• Experience managing subcontractors and field operations on active job sites
• Strong understanding of multi-trade construction (MEP, civil, structural, etc.)
• Proven experience owning: project schedules, project budgets, RFIs and change orders
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Proficiency in: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools
• Willingness to work onsite with extended hours (up to 6 days/week as needed)

Bonus Skills

• Experience with industrial or manufacturing facility construction (plants, data centers, energy projects, etc.)
• Background in EPC or design-build projects
• Exposure to commissioning or startup activities
• Experience with: Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
