Textile Designer

***This is a CONTRACT position with the potential to convert to full-time and is ONSITE 4 days/week***

Overview

Seeking a creative Textile Designer to design trend‑forward surface prints and bedding collections across soft home categories. This role partners closely with Design, CAD, Product Development, and Merchandising to deliver production‑ready designs.

This is a textile/surface design role—not branding or marketing design.

Responsibilities

• Design seasonal surface prints and bedding collections
• Create trend research and mood boards
• Develop repeats and production‑ready files in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Collaborate with CAD and Product Development on materials and execution
• Support sampling, revisions, costing, and presentations
• Manage deadlines within the product development calendar

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Textile, Fashion, or related field (preferred)
• 3–6 years textile design experience (home or fashion)
• Strong understanding of fabrications, surface design, and printing
• Skilled in hand drawing and digital illustration
• Detail‑oriented, organized, collaborative, and enthusiastic
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office

The hourly range for this position is W2 $22-25/hr and 50-60K upon conversion to full-time DOE.
