Technical Project Manager, Software & Firmware

We're looking for a Technical Project Manager to bring structure, focus, and momentum to software and firmware development efforts within a fast-paced product development environment. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex coordination challenges, and knows how to keep highly technical teams aligned and moving forward.
You'll play a critical role in driving execution across software, firmware, QA, product, and design teams building innovative, highly integrated products. This role is less about status reporting and more about actively removing roadblocks, improving processes, and ensuring teams can deliver effectively.
What You'll Be Doing
- Drive execution across software and firmware development initiatives
- Own sprint planning, backlog management, prioritization, and bug triage within Jira
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and cross-functional working sessions
- Create structure, processes, and accountability where needed
- Coordinate across engineering, QA, product, and design teams to resolve ambiguity and drive decisions
- Track risks, dependencies, action items, and delivery milestones
- Maintain documentation that supports alignment and execution
What We're Looking For
- Senior-level experience managing software development projects in Agile environments
- Strong background as a Technical Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Agile Delivery Lead
- Deep Jira expertise with backlog management and workflow optimization
- Experience supporting software, firmware, embedded systems, or hardware-integrated products
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Self-starter who is comfortable creating structure in fast-moving environments
Nice to Have
- Robotics, wearables, embedded systems, or mechatronics experience
- Firmware development lifecycle experience
- Experience working in R&D or product incubation environments
- Experience coordinating with external partners and vendors
