JOB SUMMARY

The Engineered Product Procurement Specialist supports the Purchasing Department by managing the procurement of engineered components and services within a capital equipment manufacturing environment, ensuring alignment with project cost, quality, and delivery targets and compliance with technical codes and specifications.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a minimum of 7 years of experience in a technical field.

Proficiency with SAP

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a capital equipment manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and familiarity with ASME, PED, and other industry codes.

Strong experience working within an ERP system and high proficiency in Windows-based software (Excel, MS Project, etc.).

Excellent communication skills, including experience delivering Executive Level Presentations.

Proven track record of strong negotiation skills.


Participate in cross-functional project teams, ensuring supplier and design alignment. Apply mechanical engineering knowledge to meet drawings, specifications, and codes. Manage procurement, supplier performance, NCRs, and contracts to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets. Drive supplier negotiations, cost reduction, and process improvements.
