A good move now can set you up for a much better year ahead
There are certain points in the year when a move just makes more sense.
For someone earlier in their public accounting career, joining a new firm over the summer can be a smart way to do it. You get time to settle in properly, build confidence with the team, and head into the fall deadlines feeling much more in control.
This opportunity is with a 15 person independent CPA firm in Oklahoma City that gets the balance right. Small enough that you are visible. Structured enough that you are supported.
You will not be stuck churning out the same work day after day. And you will not be left to figure things out on your own.
You will work closely with experienced CPAs and Partners who are approachable, involved, and genuinely invested in developing their team. That means better support, broader exposure, and the chance to build properly rather than just keep your head above water.
For the right person, that can make a big difference to how quickly your career starts moving.
