wA CPA office in Brandon/Valrico, FL is hiring a Tax Accountant/Bookkeeper to deliver quality taxes and financials to clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work across diverse financial functions, including personal and corporate tax preparation, accounting, and bookkeeping. This is an in office position

.Dutie

• sPrepare and file corporate and personal tax returns. Work with clients on tax planning, preparation, and filing
• .Handle monthly bookkeeping and accounting including financial statements for corporate clients
• .Conduct account reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger accounting and ensure data accuracy
• .Manage payroll and sales tax for corporate clients

.Requirement

• s3+ years of demonstrated tax experience including familiarity with tax laws, tax software tools (Drake a plus!), and estate planning procedures
• .Proficiency with QuickBook
• sAbility to interpret complex financial statements and concepts like balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, and financial report interpretation
