Talent Acquisition Specialist needed in Upstate New York!


Work Location: Clay, NY (Syracuse area)


Work Arrangement:


Remote initially; however, this position will transition to a part-time hybrid schedule requiring periodic in-office attendance. Candidates must be comfortable with this requirement.


Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Americas Talent Acquisition team. This role is responsible for managing strategic, full-cycle recruitment efforts across a variety of functions and business units. The successful candidate will partner closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and key stakeholders to develop effective talent acquisition strategies and deliver high-quality candidates who meet business needs.


The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sourcing, recruiting, candidate assessment, stakeholder management, and offer negotiation, along with a strong ability to build talent pipelines and provide market insights that support hiring decisions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for regional and business-specific positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer negotion.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to identify and attract qualified candidates through active and passive recruiting methods.
  • Review resumes and assess candidate qualifications, skills, and experience against job requirements.
  • Conduct candidate screening interviews and coordinate interview processes with hiring managers.
  • Support hiring managers in evaluating candidates and making informed hiring decisions.
  • Extend employment offers and provide professional communication and feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, create requisitions, and post opportunities through internal and external channels.
  • Partner with external recruiting agencies as needed to support hiring initiatives.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines and networks to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and campus recruiting activ
  • ities.Develop relationships with diverse talent communities and strengthen diversity recruitment initiatives.
  • Provide market intelligence, talent insights, and recruitment strategy recommendations to business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (SuccessFactors).
  • Support workforce planning initiatives by aligning recruitment efforts with organizational goals and staffing objectives.
  • Assist with relocation coordination and other recruitment-related activities as needed.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of relevant professional experience:
  • or 9–12 years of equivalent recruiting or talent acquisition experience in lieu of a degree.


Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience utilizing passive sourcing and recruitment techniques to identify top talent.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and full-cycle talent acquisition processes.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance high-level planning and hands-on execution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Skilled at identifying external talent market trends and translating insights into actionable recruiting strategies.
