About the Job: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruiting across the companies workforce. This is a new role focused on building and sustaining a strong pipeline of hourly production, skilled trades, and frontline support candidates to keep pace with continued growth. We are looking for someone who brings energy and genuine enthusiasm for meeting people and starting conversations. This person thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys community outreach and job fairs, and takes pride in representing the organization to candidates and the community. The role partners closely with hiring managers to define needs, execute recruiting strategies, and move candidates through the process efficiently. Over time, there is opportunity to grow into recruiting for technical, engineering, and leadership roles as the organization expands. This position reports directly to the HR Manager and is on-site at our Buffalo, NY facility.
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and manufacturing support positions across multiple departments
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring timelines
- Coordinate and facilitate structured interviews and selection processes
- Conduct candidate screening and manage communications throughout recruitment lifecycle
- Prepare and process offer documentation and pre-employment steps
- Maintain candidate records and recruitment activity tracking
Workforce Outreach & External Partnerships
- Develop and maintain relationships with trade schools, colleges, workforce agencies, and community organizations
- Coordinate and participate in job fairs, hiring events, and outreach activities
- Support on-site recruitment events, facility tours, and candidate visits
- Assist with workforce pipeline and community engagement initiatives
Skills & Requirements:
- 1+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing experience; manufacturing or high-volume workforce recruiting experience preferred
- Genuine enthusiasm for meeting people, building relationships, and representing the organization in the community
- Strong organizational skills and clear, professional communication at every stage of the candidate experience
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously via job boards and recruiting platforms
- Ability to work on-site role within a manufacturing environment
- Regular interaction with production floor and plant leadership
- Periodic local travel for recruiting events and outreach activities
- May require occasional schedule flexibility to support recruiting events
Salary: $55,000-$64,000
