Role Description

The Talent Acquisition Intern will play a supportive role in various HR functions, with a primary focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, and client-focused HR support. This position requires a proactive, client-centric individual who is passionate about building a strong workforce and fostering a positive work environment. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in the full-cycle recruitment process, assist with employee relations and compliance, and support our clients in meeting their staffing needs.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Client Support

· Assist in identifying and sourcing potential candidates through job boards, social media platforms, and university career centers. Review resumes to evaluate candidate qualifications against job requirements.

· Shadow and assist senior HR team members in working closely with clients to understand their workforce needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.

· Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and clients, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.

· Draft and publish engaging job descriptions on internal and external job boards. Monitor the performance of job postings.

· Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), assigning unique Candidate IDs to facilitate efficient candidate pool management.

HR Operations & Employee Relations

· Assist the HR team in managing employee relations by addressing basic inquiries, helping to foster a positive work environment, and supporting conflict resolution processes under guidance.

· Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed. Help organize and prepare materials for training sessions on HR policies and procedures.

· Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and retention for both internal teams and clients.


Qualifications

· Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.

· Career Interest: Strong interest in pursuing a career in Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, or general Human Resources.

· Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees and clients at all levels.

· Organization: High level of organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Mindset: A proactive, solutions-oriented, and problem-solving mindset with a passion for helping others succeed.

· Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.

· Language Skills: Bilingual in both English and Mandarin is highly preferred.

· Bonus: Previous knowledge or interest in immigration law, HR best practices, or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
