Systems Engineer

Lead the systems engineering effort on a complex space electronics program - and take genuine ownership of how a multidisciplinary team delivers against customer requirements.

You'll be the the technical authority on a program developing radiation hardened electronics for both civil and defense clients. This means owning the full systems engineering development process - requirements, design, and verification and validation.

You will be the person who elevates how systems engineering is applied across programs - working alongside a strong design team, you'll be setting standards, chairing design reviews, and ensuring that the product development is going as it should.

You will be working on products that will actually go to space - nothing here is theoretical or prototyping. Culturally, the business are an output focused business - their philosophy is to hire talented people and let them get on with it.

The base salary for this role is in the region of $180k - $220k, plus a very comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental, 401(k), and a host of other benefits.

What you'll do

• Own the entire systems engineering process
• Lead a multidisciplinary team (electronics, firmware, and electrical) through the product development lifecycle
• Serve as the point of contact for program stakeholders
• Contribute to the technology roadmap and future planning

What you'll need

• A track record of leading technical teams through a complex electrical development program
• Experience working in either space or aerospace - you've built products to exacting standards for extreme environments
• Experience applying system engineering methodology (DOORS, Cameo/SysML etc)
• A strong electrical engineering systems background
• Ability to gain a US security clearance - current clearance is a plus
