Location: Bergen County, NJ

Salary: $130K + Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established General Contractor seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead the delivery of a ground-up assisted living development in Bergen County.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-visibility project with strong long-term pipeline potential. While healthcare / assisted living experience is highly desirable, strong commercial ground-up construction experience will also be fully considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day on-site leadership of construction activities
• Coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and site logistics
• Ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence
• Working closely with the Project Manager and client teams
• Managing inspections, reporting, and site documentation
• Driving project progress from groundwork through to completion

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
• Ground-up construction experience essential
• Ability to manage fast-paced sites and multiple trades
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with healthcare/assisted living projects is a plus (not essential)
