In our Wegmans warehouses, you will be part of a team who gets orders ready for our stores ensuring our 100+ locations receive the items they need to stock our shelves so our customers can have an incredible shopping experience.As a summer warehouse worker, we will provide a wide variety of shifts and schedules to accommodate what works for you!This Includes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, and both part-time and full-time hours. What will I do?

• Place selected cases on a pallet and arrange orderly to minimize product damage and ensure safe delivery
• Safely operate equipment necessary to perform job duties; this may include a forklift, pallet jack, and/or Vocollect
• Follow voice commands and/or read order to ascertain correct case number and quantity of merchandise
• Stand and perform repetitive work for long periods of time
• Average weight range of items lifted is 20-25 pounds with maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds, occasionally to frequently
• May work in and have exposure to extreme temperatures (warehouse temperatures range from -20 degrees F in Frozen, to 105 Degrees F in the grocery warehouse)

Food distribution center experience; Work environment: Work includes prolonged walking and standing and frequent heavy lifting, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending and reaching, including reaching and lifting above shoulder height, in order to assemble store orders in a variety of warehouse settings in a fast-paced environment. Moves containers or cases onto pallets and/or into shipping containers for distribution to the stores. Work may involve exposure to and work in cold temperatures. Will use power industrial trucks such as a powered pallet jack. The average weight range of items lifted is 20-25 pounds with maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally to frequently. Warehouse temperatures range from -20o F (Frozen Foods Warehouse) to 105 o F (Grocery Warehouse) Will be trained, certified and responsible for safely operating the following equipment, pallet jack; Warehouse experience; Experience operating a pallet jack
