Job Title: Production Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Production Warehouse Workers / Forklift Operators to support warehouse and production operations. This role involves forklift operation, material handling, loading and unloading trucks, operating hand and power tools, and assisting with production and returns activities. The ideal candidate can work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining safety, accuracy, and productivity standards.

This position supports production, shipping/receiving, and returns operations, including peak ramp‑up periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts (sit‑down or stand‑up) to move, stage, and transport materials
  • Load and unload trailers and delivery trucks
  • Perform material handling tasks including staging, stacking, and palletizing
  • Sort, scan, and prepare products for shipment or return processing
  • Support production lines with material movement and replenishment
  • Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and efficiently
  • Assist with packing, labeling, inventory, and order picking
  • Perform general warehouse duties including cleanup and organization
  • Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and productivity standards
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

Required Skills & Experience

  • Forklift operation experience
  • Material handling and warehouse experience
  • Experience loading and unloading trucks or trailers
  • Familiarity with hand tools and basic power tools
  • Shipping, receiving, picking, packing, or production experience
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience in production or manufacturing environments
  • Returns, rework, or quality inspection experience
  • Basic inventory or scanning system knowledge
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials
  • Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed

Work Environment

  • Warehouse and production setting
  • Exposure to seasonal temperature changes (warm in summer, cooler in winter)
  • Overhead fans and industrial equipment present
  • Physically active role involving standing, walking, lifting, and bending

This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
