ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Maintain office operations by receiving and distributing communications
2. Maintain supplies and equipment
3. Serves program participants
4. Monitors residential hall during office hours
5. Assists in program services and events
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma
Experience: Experience with disadvantaged youth from rural areas
Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills; energetic; responsible; creative; knowledge of effective and efficient working processes; ability to work with high school students; maintain confidentiality; effective communication skills; good decision-making skills; initiative and strong interpersonal skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This position works in air-conditioned shared office, classroom setting and/or residential hall during the office hours.
EQUIPMENT/MATERIALS USED: General office equipment, Microsoft Office Suite
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds; Walk long distances outdoors
SALARY: $15/hr; rate determined by approved grant and available grant funds; multiple positions available
