ResponsibilitiesThe Summer Employment Opportunity Program (SEOP) provides temporary summer employment opportunities to children, step-children and spouses of Mayo Clinic employees enrolled in a college degree granting program of study and is intended to help supervisors accommodate employee vacation requests when seasonal work volumes are high.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Supply inventory consolidation
- Equipment identification and data logging
- Daily tracking and monitoring of equipment performance
- Creation and development of facility response carts to be deployed throughout DLMP laboratories
- Identification and documenting of high-risk areas for leak detection
- Supporting DLMP Facilities team with ongoing equipment maintenance
- Facility response to urgent issues
Qualifications- Must be a child, step-child, or spouse of a current Mayo Clinic employee
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree granting program
- Must be returning to college in the fall
- Must be able to work a minimum of 10 weeks
- Must be 18 years of age or older by the start of the program.
SEOP employees should not expect vacation/days-off to be approved during their commitment.
