About the Company



We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a high-performing team at Topanga. This role is responsible for driving sales, elevating KPI performance, leading and developing the team, and ensuring the boutique operates to the highest standards of presentation, compliance, and client experience.



Topanga Mall experience is required. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working at Topanga Mall and understand the customer profile, traffic patterns, peak trading periods, and operational pace of this location.



About the Role

Responsibilities



  • Sales & KPI Management
  • Lead boutique sales performance to meet or exceed budget and KPI expectations.
  • Distribute monthly and weekly sales and KPI targets, monitor results, and provide daily feedback to the team.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to review performance and create strategies to improve individual results.
  • Use planning and performance tools to drive both individual and store success.
  • Communicate targets clearly and provide coaching, support, and accountability.
  • Create quarterly action plans aligned with the marketing calendar, local business trends, and store KPI goals.
  • Ensure the team is prepared for key retail moments including launches, promotions, and peak selling periods.
  • Provide feedback and local market insights to support broader business strategy.
  • Maximize sell-through through ongoing product knowledge and styling training.
  • Leadership, Training & Development
  • Lead by example and foster a high-performance, service-driven team culture.
  • Manage team performance through goal setting, coaching, development plans, and regular follow-up.
  • Deliver training, onboarding, and ongoing development to improve productivity and engagement.
  • Ensure new hires have a strong onboarding experience and complete all required training.
  • Address performance concerns promptly, including implementation of performance improvement plans when needed.
  • Support hiring efforts and partner with leadership to fill vacancies in a timely manner.
  • Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are clearly communicated and consistently followed.
  • Maintain strong standards around safety, loss prevention, and store security.
  • Oversee store maintenance and IT issues, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Maintain accuracy in key operational logs including cash handling, petty cash, store floats, and related documentation.
  • Support store projects, moves, or builds as needed in partnership with operations.
  • Drive excellence in housekeeping and presentation standards at all times.


Qualifications



  • Required: prior experience working at Topanga Mall.
  • Proven experience as a Store Manager, Boutique Manager, or Senior Assistant Store Manager in fashion, luxury, or premium retail.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales and achieving KPI targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience coaching, developing, and managing retail teams.
  • Solid understanding of retail operations, scheduling, cash handling, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for client experience, styling, and relationship building.
  • Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and key trading periods.
