Stewarding Supervisor

The Stewarding Supervisor will assist in supervising the day-to-day operation of the Stewarding department. This position is responsible for total maintenance and sanitation in all food production service areas as well as managing, scheduling, and coachingcolleagues in the department.This person will also assume floor presence in the absence of the Executive Steward.

What You'll Do:

  • Operational Excellence:Direct and oversee the stewarding team, coordinating the critical movement of supplies, equipment, and resources to support diverse hotel venues and events.
  • Impeccable Standards:Conduct meticulous inspections of staff performance and production, strictly upholding the highest sanitation and cleaning protocols essential for a luxury property.
  • Team Leadership:Take the initiative in training new colleagues, assisting with scheduling, and supporting the Stewarding Manager in all facets of daily department management.

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • 1-2 years previous Stewarding experience preferred
  • Computer/technical skills
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about50 pounds)
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
