This role is specifically designed for experienced� SPD Managers, Educators, and departmental leaders� who want to transition into the� medical device industry� while staying deeply connected to clinical practice. You will lead customer trials and implementations nationwide, stepping into hospitals as the on-site expert who guides teams through adoption, education, and workflow transformation.
You won’t be turning wrenches. You’ll be doing what you already do best -� teaching, coaching, optimizing workflows, and building confident, compliant teams.
Your Impact
Lead� on-site trials and implementations� within Sterile Processing Departments and Operating Rooms across the U.S.
Spend� 2–4 weeks at a time� embedded with hospital teams to ensure real adoption -� not surface-level training.
Partner directly with� SPD managers, educators, supervisors, and OR leadership� to evaluate current processes and design improved workflows.
Deliver� hands-on education and structured training� that empowers technicians, educators, and leaders.
Serve as a� trusted peer and advisor� to departments navigating change.
Act as the voice of the customer, sharing field insights that influence internal teams and future deployments.
Build long-term partnerships that drive confidence, engagement, and sustained success.
Who This Role Is For
This role is ideal for someone who:
Has� 7+ years in Sterile Processing or OR environments, with leadership or education responsibilities.
Has worked as an� SPD Manager, Assistant Manager, Educator, Supervisor, or Lead Tech� with department-wide influence.
Is known for being� approachable, credible, and effective in training and change management.
Enjoys walking into new departments, quickly earning trust, and bringing structure to complex environments.
Wants to� step beyond a single facility� and make a national-level impact.
Is excited about�  extensive nationwide travel (up to 90%)� and living near a major airport.
Qualifications
Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
CRCST (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success in� staff education, workflow redesign, quality initiatives, accreditation readiness, or department leadership.
Strong communication and presentation skills -� comfortable training small teams or full departments.
Healthcare implementation, consulting, or medical device experience is a plus, not a requirement.
