Job Description
The Steel Detailer produces precise, fabrication-ready shop drawings and erection drawings based on provided design documents for steel platework and structural steel projects. This role focuses on translating engineering designs into clear, accurate details that support efficient shop fabrication and field erection, while ensuring a strong emphasis on quality, accuracy, and constructability.

Work Environment
This is an in-office position based in an environment that includes both office and shop interaction, offering close collaboration with fabrication operations. The role does not require travel. You will primarily work at a workstation using AutoCAD and related drafting tools to produce detailed drawings and documentation. The setting supports direct communication with shop personnel to ensure that drawings are practical and fabrication-ready. Standard office attire is appropriate, with additional safety-conscious attire as needed when visiting shop areas. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
