Staff Pharmacist – Bardonia, New York (Direct Hire)
An excellent direct hire opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist with a well-established closed-door long-term care pharmacy in Bardonia, New York. This position is focused on mid/evening shifts and offers a consistent 4x10-hour schedule. The client is open to training pharmacists in specialized areas including IV preparation, non-sterile compounding, and their pharmacy software system.
Term of Assignment: Direct Hire
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule:
- 4x10-hour shifts within Monday–Friday
- Available shifts include: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM & 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Rotating Sunday coverage required
Job Duties:
- Perform PV1 and PV2 medication verifications
- Assist with occasional EV kit processing
- Prepare IV medications (training provided)
- Perform non-sterile compounding duties (training provided)
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy operations
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support patient care
Requirements:
- Active and clear New York Pharmacist license
- Recent pharmacy experience required
- Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred, but not required
- Open to new graduate pharmacists
