About the Role: As a CBRE Database Sr. Engineer, you will work with developers, D&T staff, and end-users to provide advanced technical support, maintenance, and logistical support to production and test systems.
This job is part of the Database Engineering job function. They are responsible for the upkeep of databases across several company platforms and computing environments.
What You’ll Do: - Manage day-to-day operations and support of enterprise databases.
- Set up and configure complex databases, interfaces, and production environments.
- Work with application developers to create innovative programs and systems.
- Oversee production application systems, the information warehouse, and business intelligence systems.
- Direct installation and configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, partitioning strategies, and automation techniques.
- Manage user security and access to the databases to ensure a controlled environment.
- Investigate, review, and test patches and bug fixes.
- Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
- Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
- Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.

What You’ll Need: - Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Oracle Certified Professional, MySQL Database Administrator, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator preferred.
