Sr Accountant

This role will be responsible for travel & expense reporting and corporate card administration.

The Sr. Accountant role has a national salary range of $70,000 - $115,000.

For roles within California the range is $70,304 - $115,000 and Washington is $80,169 - $115,000.

Job Description

Reconciling

• Prepare/ review balance sheet reconciliations; research non traditional balances
• Reconcile all self-insurance activity to the incurred but not reported analysis (IBNR)

Data Processing

• Prepare accounting entries for health and risk self-insurance programs
• Post all area specific journal entries as prepared by 3rd party offshoring partner
• Ensure desktop procedures (DTP’s) are maintained by 3rd party offshoring partner.

Operational Support

• Approve entries related to the self-insurance program
• Forecasting the self-insurance programs
• Provide finance and site level support as required.

Control and Governance

• Ensure accounting controls and policies are being applied appropriately at all levels
• Meet published deadlines
• Understand the business and the impact of general ledger processes on other people

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, required
• 3+ years work related experience, required
