Schedule: Full-time 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (30 minute unpaid lunch) 37.5 hours/week

Pay Rate: $45-50/hr on W-2
Position Overview
A school district in Lancaster County, South Carolina is seeking multiple Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year. These positions support students in elementary and middle school settings across resource, co-teaching, and self-contained instructional models. Teachers will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide specialized instruction aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized academic instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Implement evidence-based instructional strategies in inclusive and self-contained settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school administrators
- Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support positive behavior interventions and inclusive learning environments
Qualifications
- Active South Carolina Special Education Certification in Multi-Categorical
- (Other applicable certifications may be considered, including ED, MD, EMD, or TMD)
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Prior school-based special education experience preferred
- Strong classroom management, collaboration, and documentation skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $45.00 – $50.00+ per hour (W-2), based on experience. (that's over $70,000/school year)
