Job description:
- Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spares and Service Support Specialist to join our team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement, inventory, and distribution of spare parts, as well as services business with our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Traveling and engaging with different customer plant teams in North America to develop and manage the Spares and Services business to meet or exceed yearly revenue targets
- Coordinate the distribution of spare parts to our customers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
- Coordinate with internal service support teams to execute service orders
- Maintain detailed records of all spare parts transactions, service, and support activities including equipment performance data and customer feedback
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and global intra-company teams to secure the best possible pricing and delivery times for spare parts
- Develop good relationships with key customer personnel at all levels of plant, engineering, purchasing, and within accounts and establish Client as a sustaining resource for spares and services
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial equipment industry
- 30% travel - local
- Valid driver's license and mode of transportation
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues Proficient in the use of inventory management software and other relevant tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards
Education:
- Associate or bachelor's degree
