Job description:

  • Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spares and Service Support Specialist to join our team.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement, inventory, and distribution of spare parts, as well as services business with our customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Traveling and engaging with different customer plant teams in North America to develop and manage the Spares and Services business to meet or exceed yearly revenue targets
  • Coordinate the distribution of spare parts to our customers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Coordinate with internal service support teams to execute service orders
  • Maintain detailed records of all spare parts transactions, service, and support activities including equipment performance data and customer feedback
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and global intra-company teams to secure the best possible pricing and delivery times for spare parts
  • Develop good relationships with key customer personnel at all levels of plant, engineering, purchasing, and within accounts and establish Client as a sustaining resource for spares and services


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial equipment industry
  • 30% travel - local
  • Valid driver's license and mode of transportation
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues Proficient in the use of inventory management software and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards


Education:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree
