Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef in Salisbury, NC. The Sous Chef will assist in daily kitchen operations, including supervising staff, preparing and plating dishes, and maintaining a high standard of food quality. Additional responsibilities include inventory management, ensuring health and safety compliance in the kitchen, and collaborating with our Michelin experienced Executive Chef to develop and refine menus. You will play a key role in mentoring team members and upholding the restaurant’s exceptional culinary standards.


Qualifications


  • Experience in food preparation, cooking, and plating
  • P

revious experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role in a fine dining setting for a minimum of 2 years is preferred

  • Skills in team leadership, training, and kitchen staff supervision
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Non-smoker preferred
  • Ability to manage inventory and control food costs effectively
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Creativity and a passion for culinary innovation
  • Respectful and ready to work attitude
  • Culinary degree or professional culinary certification is preferred but not required
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
